Surgery Premises
Our surgery building is welcoming, easy for patients to find their way around and appropriate to the needs of all users, including those with disabilities. There is an induction loop system available at the front reception desk and in consulting rooms if required.
If you have any special information or communication needs, please let us know so we can make any necessary arrangements for you.
CCTV is installed internally in public areas and externally for security. Recordings are used entirely at the discretion of the partners including provision of images to the police or other official bodies, and will otherwise comply with the practice’s data protection registration.
Disability Access
There are designated disabled parking bays in this public car park, with easy access to our entrance which has automatic doors. Thursday mornings are always busy in the car park because of the market, so do allow extra time for finding a parking space before your appointment.
There is an electronic check-in to your right as you come through the main door or by the desk. This is accessible to wheelchair users.
There are two lifts in the main waiting area for access to the upstairs rooms. These are useful for prams and buggies. However, patients who have severe mobility problems or who are in wheelchairs will be seen on the ground floor where possible. Your doctor will come to you. Our reception team will arrange this for you.
All the corridors and doorways in the building comply with disability regulations and there are disabled access toilets on both the ground and the first floors.
